Practice Profile

Feldmann Architects create innovative and imaginative architecture, urban design and interiors with an emphasis on offices and housing for commercial and private clients.

We work on all stages of a project from the initial concept sketches through to the supervision of construction work on site.

Awards + Publicity

Our work has won a number of architect’s awards in the UK and abroad, with Knighton House and Upside Down House respectively, and we have featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs: House of the Year.

Individual Approach

We work on exciting and challenging projects and find individual solutions for the challenges of each scheme.

Our bespoke responses can overcome budget constraints and planning obstacles and lead to unique and inspiring results, with sustainability an integral part right from the start.

Service + Experience

We have experience in the construction of new buildings and the refurbishment of existing buildings with expertise in sustainability and conservation.

We work throughout all stages of a project and collaborate with a trusted network of engineers and specialist consultants.

Architects' Appointments

Architects’ appointments and fees are agreed individually with each client to reflect the scale and complexity of the project as well as the range of services provided; the fee can be a percentage of the construction cost, a fixed sum or an hourly rate.

The Royal Institute of British Architects offers advice on how to prepare for a building project for commercial developers and for private clients.

Principal

Nils Feldmann set up Feldmann Architects after twenty years of working as a registered architect in London, Hamburg and Nottingham.

Nils is currently the chair of the RIBA East Midlands Regional Council and a co-chair of the Design Review Panel for the Midlands.
