Design Brief
The brownfield site is located in the Georgian new town, laid out around 1820 and now part of the New Walk Conservation Area, and is accessed via an archway off the Welford Road.
The proposed mixed use redevelopment combines new apartments and new office accommodation overlooking a re-landscaped courtyard.
The buildings give a strong sense of enclosure around the courtyard and respect the setting of the adjoining Grade II listed buildings, which share a plot boundary with the site.
