Duckpond Cabins

Design Brief

Surrounded by open fields and woodland, the two holiday cabins are designed as secluded holiday retreats. Nestled into the trees around a duckpond, the cabins’ silhouettes are kept below the canopy of the coppice and slope down towards the water for minimal visual impact.

The cabins embrace sustainability for low-carbon construction and operation with a highly insulated timber frame, air source heat pumps and photovoltaic panels for off-grid living.
