Design Brief
Located in the Derbyshire Dales, the house has been extended and adapted for a family returning to their original home.
The property was extended and re-modelled to create an open plan ground floor with improved accessibility and a better connection with the garden.
An additional bedroom and bathroom were created on the first floor, the new staircase allows views across the house and a new skylight brings generous natural light into the middle of the house.
Design Team
The scheme was designed by Feldmann Architects, who worked on the initial stages including the planning permission.
Mansel Architects were in charge of the technical design and oversaw the construction through to completion.
