The vacant stable is part of a former farmstead in rural Northamptonshire and will be converted into a self-contained holiday apartment.

A new panoramic balcony will hover above the adjacent duck pond, benefit from morning and evening sun and have uninterrupted view across the open countryside towards the fields of Broad Moor, where the Battle of Naseby took place in 1685.

The interior will retain the spacious character of the upper floor, and the rustic material palette will reflect the agricultural nature of the building and its rural setting.
